By using Subwoofer Box Designer (“the designer”) you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

Estimates, not guarantees

Results are calculated with the Thiele/Small model and simplified assumptions (for example, a rough cabin gain model). A real subwoofer, box and vehicle can behave differently.
Driver parameters come from manufacturers’ published specifications, which can contain errors and change between production runs. Check the parameters against your driver’s spec sheet before you build, and double‑check all dimensions on the drawings before you cut.
You are responsible for your build: amplifier power, wiring and final impedance, electrical safety, mounting the box securely in the vehicle, and listening at safe volume levels.

No warranty

The designer is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from using the designer or the drawings, cut lists, DXF files or reports it produces, including damaged materials, equipment or vehicles.

Acceptable use

You may use the designer and everything it produces for your own and commercial builds.
Don’t scrape, copy or redistribute the driver database or the software, and don’t attempt to disrupt the service.

Trademarks

Brand and model names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify the products. The designer is not affiliated with or endorsed by any manufacturer.

Paid features

The designer is currently free. If paid plans are introduced, their terms, pricing and refund policy will be published here before purchase.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
